following this:

I am going to RHBH a Fuse through the left side gap.

As Chuck has pointed out the footage on the teesign is incorrect. The short pin is reachable with a putter up the left hand side or perhaps a Roc on the right hand side. The elevation is the trick here on this hole and the hyzer route is often taken but is perhaps not the best line, as a bad kick can put you further down the hill.

For the shortpin I throw a beat dx P&A Avaiar up the left hand side and pray I stay clean. For the long pin, I throw a seasoned KC Roc again up the left hand side and pray I stay clean. For me this is perhaps the weakest hole (in terms of design) on the entire course.

OK then I retract my previous statement. I'll throw a Roc instead.

Wow. Probably a Buzzz and a prayer on the short. Same on the long just because I don't expect to get much distance anyway.

The pictures may or may not be doing it justice. From the pictures it looks like there are no fair fairways, just a slot in the woods. It looks like that it would be common to get a tree hit and while no matter where you are you have at least a chance to save par. Then again, you could just as likely hit another thin tree and suddenly you are looking at a 4 or 5.

I have mixed feelings about holes like this. When I get the line and earn a 2, it is nice knowing there can be a scoring spread and I could easily put two or three strokes on another competitor.

For the short pin: Icon Ghost or 145g Z Hornet
For the long pin: Icon Ghost or Metal Flake TeeBird (they are very good at absorbing tree hits).
