Santa Barbara, CA

I am leaving for school in about a week, I'm attending UCSB and wondering what the disc golf scene in SoCal, especially near Santa Barbara is all about, who can help me out?

Nobody plays disc golf in SoCal. And the stores are all sold out of cheez-its down in that region.
