He means the Winget Inn, the host hotel for the event not winget DG course.

Update on Winthrop Gold. We got most of the yellow rope and bottom string finished this afternoon, Most of the course is now set with brand new baskets (exception is #6's beach green, where the new sand arrived this afternoon; it will have a portable basket which may not be available until Friday or so). Also the new tee on #18 (a big dock about 40-50' further back from than the traditional land tee) will probably not be available until Friday. Us volunteers have been dodging players and discs for the past 3-4 days, which will only intensify until the tourney begins.

In theory, Monday is reserved for the "play-in" attempters, although many of the registered players often show for practice; all others will be discouraged. Sunday (Sept. 30), the course will be closed until the US AM Doubles rounds are completed.

Come on over during the tourney and say hi to this old f*rt (DGCR #368) waving all those dreaded red flags on hole #9.
