Emerald, Mesa - Arizona

Last I played there, it was a glow but we are headed to Emerald this morning for a round.

Any of you play this one?

I enjoy the over the water holes, get there!

Lovely day, can't wait to hear the new pipes on the 911, load up and go...

There is an AM tournament there today, and the course is closed. I played the pro side yesterday and made the lead card with Ulibarri and Wysocki. It was fun to battle with those kids.

....and you have a 911?!?! I absolutely love 911's. Especially, the ones from the late 80's and early 90's. Do you have any pics?

Here is a shot of the group at Emerald and a couple of the sled.

We need to meet and play. I wouldn't mind helping you while you are in Phoenix if it goes well between us.

I didn't know the course was closed, we parked there, got out and stood around a little and went over to Vista.

I rolled 'em awesome today, Blizzard shots going going gone and putting not too bad.

Oh, man that is a sweet ride! I love, love, love Porshe's. I told my fiance that if we ever start getting comfortable enough to afford a weekend car, it would have to be a 911.

Yeah, we will definately have to meet up. I was going to try to meet you at Maricopa the morning that you posted, but finding the time was difficult.

Right now I am in training mode preparing for The Memorial. I am dead set on winning it this year. Second place will not be good enough.

David, I play every Sunday with a tight knit small group of friends, we know each other for more than 30 years. One of us is an old pro, used to play tournaments back in the 80s and 90's and helped put in the course at Vista. We use the game for a social event and to have fun. We don't suck but we are odd in that we don't play with a lot of people. Consider this an invite, as I said, we play on Sundays at FH, Vista, Maricopa Meadows and we branch out to Conocido or now Emerald.

I don't know where we are playing this weekend and you are in the zone now. I wouldn't expect that you would want to meet with us next weekend but consider the invitation open. I'll tell the guys, it is no problem.

Thanks man. We will have to arrange something in a couple weeks. I have the Memorial next week, then headed to Mexico for a bachelor party the following weekend.

When ever you want, we are three years now every Sunday.

Mind yourself in Mexico. Travel in the morning, best time for no hassle.

See you sometime when you are ready.

No, I just drive it now and then and one day I will own a Boxster S.

When you are ready, send a PM and I'll tell you what course we are going to be at and what time.

Looking forward to it.

Good luck at the Memorial, I hope you WIN!

I've been playing Emerald for almost 10 years. I am really impressed w/ how well the crew there has improved the park. The new baskets, tees and signs are excellent. The only thing one could really ask for is more trees--especially on hole #2 in the "B" location--but imagine the city might have something to say about that.
Great job guys!!
