Default Courses in England?

I am going to be in England for a bit over 2 weeks in July. Anyone have public courses they recommend? I will be in Oxford, Cambridge, London and near Lichfield. During the time in Lichfield would be the best time for me. I'll be traveling with my wife and parents so if there is something cool nearby they can do while I play that would be a bonus.

Quarry Park is nice. Lots of alternate tees. But it's almost always wet and muddy, so bring your mud gear. There's something awesome about throwing right next to the River Avon.....

Derrick, the owner/manager, is the only UK-based Pro as far as I know. Not sure how much he tours, but you might run into him there. Cool dude.

Cool thanks for the suggestion. I was wondering about that one or Bedworth Miners Welfare DGC.

University of Essex is a solid course that I have played. Not too far from Cambridge. Have them drop you off while they check out the Colchester area, or even the coast - Clacton-on-sea has a nice beach and pier. Lots to do..
