Champ Katana

Would appreciate comments/opinion from those throwing these. Reg production run specifically.

I know it's supposed to be slightly more stable than Pro and Star, even according to Innova. But do champs still fly like you would expect a Katana to?

I'm looking for a max distance turnover driver, and the Bolt/King has proved too flippy for me.

Anyway, looking for opinions...

they can be flippy in lighter weights but i think you may find them more stable than the bolt and king..

I've tried three different runs of champ katanas and all three have been over stable like a boss for me. I can get my pros out to 350-375 on a big open s line. My champs fly straight 225(ish) and meat hook to the ground.

I never played with one long enough to break it in. Also this is all back hand.

My 2nd run champion katanas are not overstable. They are stable to understable. I generally hyzerflip them for turnover shots. I have a star that is much more overstable that I use for flex shots.

Well, this is more what I was hoping for.

There's not much info on the champion Katana, other than the std flight charts, which don't account for specific plastics. Innova rates the champ 13,5,-2,3...vs all other Katana's 13,5,-3,3.

If the Innova numbers for the champ version are accurate, then that's just slightly less understable. But nothing beats real world experience.
