Thoughts on my stable/understable bag.

Just wanted to get some thoughts / feedback on my bag. I throw backhand. Lately I have been focusing on using slower control discs, specifically the opto pure, buzz, and teebird. I don’t have a cannon, so I focus on stable to understand with the exception of wind. Wind can be a concern certain times of the year. I play mountain courses as well as parks. Some of the mountain courses can be a trek so I would like to keep light.

8 molds, 13 discs. Gaps? Overlap? General suggestions?

175 Grip Pure
All putting or approach within 100 feet.

175 Opto Pure

Driving putts, straight or hyzer within 200 feet.

172 Z Buzz & 175 Crystal Buzz
Shots within 250 feet. Crystal is a little more stable for wind or more hyzer.

2 - 172 Champion Teebird
One beat for anhyzers; one newer for straight and hyzers. Shots within 300 feet.

167 Star Roadrunner

Long anhyzer shots.

2 – 175 Champion Beast

Go-to driver for 300-340 feet. I carry one beat and one newer. Plan to replace these with Opto Saints at some point.

172 Champion Wraith

Beat in. Use for mild head winds and dependable fade (i.e. water on right). Thoughts on replacing this with a PD; slow speed, but more stable than a beast.

167 Champion Katana
Maximum distance driver, I can get it about 375 on a good rip. Should I be throwing a Katana? Learn to throw a Wraith/Beast further?

172 Champion Boss

Heavy head winds. Should I try to use something slower instead? There can be significant winds where I play; tournaments in 30 mph winds.

167 Champion Sidewinder
Very beat, roller.

funny i ask myself that alot. i can throw a tee bird just about as far as any of my max d drivers. therefore i have scaled back in speed.
saint though i have not thrown one sounds like it will be right up your ally.
the pd would prob replace your wraith and boss as far as what your trying to accomplish. maybe 165
use your road runner for rollers loose the sidewinder
get a 145 bliz destroyer for open bombs. that should be a good weight for you even in wind. i use 152 destroyers and throw a touch farther than some of your distances
pure/buzz/tbird/saint/roadrunner/pd/destroyer
sounds like a nice compact, get it done bag, that you can really get comfortable throwing with confidence.

I'd condense that to:
pure/buzz/tbird/roadrunner and 1 distance disc (maybe a beast, orc, wraith or something controllable but still long)

Thanks for your thoughts.

With the "pure/buzz/tbird/saint/roadrunner/pd/destroyer" recommendation, would that include carrying multiples of a mold (i.e. 2 pures, 2 buzz, 2 tbird, 2 saint)?

not that you have to tote them around all the time but it is nice to have a back up for tournament play.
one set you play with one you practice with to break them in
