People ask me this all the time

I tell them no, it's not a amateur tee.Each tee is just that, another tee.You go in with a different mindset for every drive regardless of how short it is.

Almost all of us are amateurs, even the people that think they're not. If the term Amateur bothers people they need thicker skin.

I think the White, Red, Blue and Gold designation work fine. It's just that there isn't much consistency around the regions I've played. Although if a course only had White tees it would probably be protested as racist.

pretty much anyone who plays golf golf, the shortest tees are always ladies tees.

Like I said. I play with a lot of women who get realy mad when the short tees are called ladies tees. This may be why so many of you guys can't get a disc golf girl. I think calling them am tees is alot less degrating to women.

to grate or degrate. that just sounds painful.

the female in my group calls them the ladies tee when one of us males fails to get passed it on our first throw from the long tee. she does not feel degraded by the term.
