They didn't play in the same division at that tournament. Not sure if they played the same courses in the same order at the same time.

Regardless, not sure what's "odd" about a 980 player losing to a 1002 player 2 years ago, nor a 1016 player losing to a 1038 player.

In 2009 Wysocki played <16, in 2010 he won <19, in 2011 he finished 19th in Open to Wiggins' 11th.

Well they sure are playing together in this video:

so I have no clue what youre talking about.

Wiggins beats the crap out of this guy, in fact he has pretty awful form, just seems surprising to me but it could be alot of things.

I'm talking about the official results, which show they didn't play in the same division, and which I linked to.

Sorry to confuse you.

OHHHHHH! When he said Worlds I thought he meant Worlds.

Still don't see anything odd.

Okay, so anyway, back to Wysocki. I'm sure there are lots of "holy crap!" stuff from various players at USDGC, but check out Wysocki's last round:
- Eagle on #10 (reachable 554 ft par 4, more like 468 ft as the crow flies).
- Birdie on #11 (TIGHT 734 ft par 4).
- Eagle on #12 (reachable downhill but blind 901 ft par 5). (He eagled #12 all 4 rounds.)
- Eagle on #13 with a 350ft throw-in (888ft segmented par 5).
He also birdied #7,#8,#14 to bookend that run, but those are ho-hum by comparison.

The sad part is that he pared #1, #15, and #17 which were dampers on his round. Especially since he was 20 ft. on #17 for birdie and he rarely misses those. I guess the pressure was to him by that point because he was doing all he could and Schusterick just kept his foot on the pedal. However, it was definitely one of the better rounds of the week for sure!
