Striker? Not sure how it'll handle the wind, though.

The Nords don't specialize in low glide...XXX/Trident don't glide much, but they are quite overstable.

Boatman might be an option or perhaps the Blitz
but compared to the XXX or Trident they are higher glide but not in the same vein as Swords/Flows/Saints etc

Snowflake Strikers and 1st Runs are good in wind, but many Strikers will turn on you, and not come back.
I think one of the Prodiscus drivers might fit the bill. The Respecti maybe? I haven't thrown them, but I think they have a driver with some good over stability. Either the Respecti or Legenda, I can't remember.

Low glide + Lat does not exist.

Now imagine throwing one of the suggestions we have so far on a tunnel hole....
I just remembered Discmania is 1/2 Finnish...Both CDs and PDs are great fairly straight control drivers that can handle some wind and aren't really high glide discs.

Your best bet would be an Opto Striker with a high PLH. I use mine in headwinds and they hold up quite well, but I'm also a low power player, my max d with Strikers is around 300ft.

Having thrown a friend's Riot this weekend I'd say it could fill this role. It's a speed 11 though, has a funky rim according to some (it didn't bother me), and might have just a touch more turn than you might want for tunnel shots, but it can be put on a laser beam and is definitely OS enough to fight the wind.
Second choice would be a heavy Opto Saint, as they'll get out on a pretty good low line shot with enough snap. |
