PDGA SSA by Course

I have noticed the SSA by course function has vanished and/or I can not find it. I found a dead link from another discussion on how SSA is determined. Any help there? I am not sure where I should post this (tournaments, general, etc) so I posted here.

Also, has there been an updated to highest SSA by course since the worlds this year? I am curious where they stack up. And, that doc from prior years has disappeared as well.

Thanks!

The PDGA web site has been changed to help prevent the SSA from being scraped for other purposes. You can determine the SSA for a course by finding an event on that course and looking for where a 1000 rated round would land. That will be the SSA.

Wouldn't that only give the SSE for that exact day and conditions though. Isn't the SSA based purely on length of the course alone?

No the SSA is based on actual play not length.

Yes. No. SSA is only computed by tournament scores, and may vary from event to event on the same course.

Thanks for the replies. That is terrible news. I really hope they at least update their World Championships SSA for each course. I know Nockamixon used to be the highest, not sure what is now after all those challenging NC courses were played.

I don't think any of the NC courses beat Nockamixon. They actually shortened some holes in Charlotte for worlds in order to NOT have the long rounds like they did at Nockamixon.
