Easy DIY bag frame...

I wanted to make a frame for my HyzerBomb Atomic seeing they don't really come with one. Saw all the ideas that folks posted in the forum but most of them use a crap load of PVC tubing which was way too much for me so I went out and did this..

2 pcs - 1/2" PVC pipe (cut to whatever length needed for your bag)
1 pc - 1/2" Wood Dowel
2 pcs - Ends (I used some plastic board but I could also imagine some real thin plywood.
4 pcs - #8 X 1 Round Head Wood Screws and 4 pcs #8 Flat Washers.

Simple:

1 - Cut your PVC tubing to length clean out the inside of the pipe and hammer in some 1-1/2 length pieces of the wooden dowel in each end (no need to glue).

2 - Determine the measurements for the end pieces need and cut to size.

3 - Drill 2 holes on the bottom of each end piece to attach your PVC pipe (You'll want to make sure the the holes you're drilling are at the right height. If you screw up the PVC tubing will either be too high or too low).

4 - Fire in the screws from the outside into the PVC ends (where you pounded in the dowel. Good idea to also pre-drill small pilot holes in the dowel to prevent splitting.

You'll be happy when it's done, it looks and works great.

I've been using mine for about 2 months now and it kicks a$$.

Here's a couple of pics (you may notice the ends look a little crooked in the pics but that is just an effect from the camera, they are perfectly straight)

You could also use wood dowels in place of the PVC pipes. They are sold for $4 for 4' at lowes. Good job and thanks for the pics!

I thought of using wood dowel for the the full lengths but with the amount of rain we get here I decided to go with the PVC, drier climates go right ahead and use the wood dowel. Thanx
