Wiggins shot a 43 on a par 55 course when he was 12.

But that's the closet I can think of off the top of my head.

Edit - his birthday is in April, so he was 13 by this point.

This is excellent, great job guys! How did you advertise this event? Were the participants mostly kids of CDGC members? or did you draw in children from the surrounding community?

I don't know if they advertised beyond a flyer at the course and a post on cdgc.com.

Still, I would say lots of the participants were not kids of club members. TD Steve Lambert does a lot of work with schools in Lancaster SC, so there were several kids that came up from there. Elon gets a TON of play by families, so it wouldn't surprise me if lots of competitors had simply seen the sign at the course.

I sent a flyer to my daughter's elementary PE instructor, but I don't think any others from her school showed up.

Hey -- who was the guy handing out hot dogs? I know Sam was cooking, but I don't think I know the guy handing out. He was pushing Club memberships hard. Club Member? Message Boarder?

White guy. Dark hair, straight but short I think. Average height. Fairly thin. I'm horrible at age guessing, but maybe somewhere in the 28-40 range?

Thanks! We have had a hard time with kids events here and was wondering how you drew 80 participants. I appreciate the feedback!
