#100 In Chicagoland 10/20-10/22

Going to be in Chicago area for the weekend, including Monday and have nothing to do but play disc golf until the Bears game Monday night. The only things on the current schedule is meeting up with Jukeshoe at Rogers Lakewood Saturday morning then i am open after that. Also plan on playing the dubs Sunday morning at Grey Fox. Lets play!

Not sure if this matters to you, but apparently Grey Fox is set up almost all in short pin positions. That makes it a pretty mediocre course compared even to the mixed setup, the shorts and longs are really different there. I would recommend doing something like the Joliet area instead on Sunday if you want to play more interesting courses (Highland, Trinity, The Oaks, Community and West Park are all fun plays and there are a couple more around too).

That's really a bummer. Why would they go from all longs to all shorts? They could have at least mix-and-matched like usual. They've only done all shorts once before, and it was for the global women's event. I ASSUMED (wrongly) that would be the only time it would ever be in all shorts. Sigh.

I usually play at Fairfield on Saturday.

Hope to make it out there for the random draw doubles round at 11:00 am, but I will not know for sure until Friday.

If not, I typically just play a casual unless some league players hang around for round 2. I could probably meet you at a different course in the area if you wanted to check out something else instead Saturday afternoon.

Hmm, the only reason i was really going up there was because i was interested in doing random dubs, playing with some folks i have never played with before, any dubs down south on Sunday?

depending on when i finish at lakewood saturday there may be time to get in a round somewhere up there, otherwise sunday or monday would be good

Sunday may be an option for me, but lately they have been filled with family fun time and no disc golf.

You would probably be better off with the courses in the Joliet area anyways....there are several quality options down there.

I'm not familiar with their league schedule, but you can probably find more info on the JTown DG web site.
