Patriot review

Context: I am a noodle arm, I can get a 175 Mamba out to 300 - 350 on a good throw.

Initial impressions were good, it definitely looks like a stable to understable fairway, and had a beautiful swirl in the plastic. The plastic did feel a bit slicker than I'd have liked. I received proto #17, 175g.

Upon field testing, I threw it next to a 174g Star Leopard and a 172g MVP Volt. It threw almost identical to my Volt, except with a little more HSS and about 10 - 15 feet less distance. I was throwing both between 250 and 275 that day. The slickness of the plastic I was worried about when I got it didn't affect my throws at all, in fact I didn't even notice.

It's a good disc, but not good enough to knock the Volt out of my bag. Thanks Lion for hooking me up with a tester

Since the volt is 2-3 speeds faster then a rival it's natural to think it would get more distance.

The patriots sounds awesome. Legacy has been putting out some great discs. I wish I had a chance to throw some of these around
