There's a possible dozen+ new courses Charlotte can install in the next few years. Most will be middle-school types to grow the sport.

You are so right. I tell you now, I regret promising the folks in Stallings that I would do this course. However, there are a lot of people here who will back my play and assist me in this final course build. Age and the physical attrition have put the old man in his place. It was a good run and I regret nothing.(except promising to build this course

Hey fellow Charlotte DGers, help us old f*rts (Stan and me) install this new course (only 3-4 miles south of the Scrapyard). Hope to see a lot of smiling faces tomorrow (Sunday) at 10am (church of DG).

The Sunday work day went well. At this point we are leaving all the branches and such where they lay.
Andy may be able to get us a chipper out there. That would be great as we could spray the chips on the greens as we go along. Around noon the local police showed up to investigate a complaint of chainsaws in the woods. Fortunately I had copies of my letter of approval to build the course from the park department. Can you believe that nobody had even cracked a beer at a disc golf work party?

Anyhow, hopefully this coming Sunday will be our next work day. 10 a.m.
