I was unable this weekend to help any. Plantar Fasciitis plus gout equaled no walking for me for a couple of days. Incredibly frustrating for me. I don't like being crippled.

Knuckleball !!!!! (after my team had built 8 holes that were either totally in the woods or that required some measure of cutting) My park department contact notified me that they were going to build 2 playgrounds, one restroom with bays large enough for 10 picnic tables, one 6000 sq ft barn for party rental, expand two parking lots and build a double decker tree house in the woods that would be ADA compliant to use for weddings and stuff !!!!!! So, this park has a total of 25 acres, Half of that is unusable swamp, half of what is left cannot be used because of features like roads, adjacent property and the aforementioned projects.

Fortunately, I will have input on the shape of the expanded parking areas, the location of one of the playgrounds and the tree house and restroom.

The bottom line is that I will have to scale back from two sets of tees, the longs which would have been advanced skill level short holes to only having one set of tees that will be beginnermediate level tees. We only have 9 baskets cut and have not started on the back 9 yet. Now we will have a front 11 and a back 7. We will have to relocate 4 of the existing baskets to acommodate the necessary changes but it should not be too labor intensive.

9 hours on the mower and chainsaw and dragging cutting today. Yay, I am getting younger by the microsecond.

Robby and I put in three new poles, one new sleeve, and a giant tire and piece of pvc to elevate another hole today. We moved the tire a long way and this green will be cool. You will only be able to see the band of the basket from the tee. It is not a long hole, and when you throw a good shot you will be listening for the sound of chains. Progress, yay.
