Spent 5 hours out on the course today and there are 15 holes that are finalized and ready to go.......however we started on the final 3 today and my god they are in the thickest woods I have ever seen. It is really hard to get bearings on where you are and designing in there is a major hassle. This area may be my new biggest fear instead of #17 at pittsboro. It's times like this I wish I had a "Mule" in Ahoskie to point in the right direction. Anyways we have a start on this area and will be continuing again next time trying to get more definition and Ideas. So close to having a course done!

Got a map made up of the course in Ahoskie. here is the big map with holes 1-8.

Hole 5 is about a 600' par 4 and hole 7 is probably a little longer.

9 & 10.png

10-16.png

14-18.jpg

hole 9 is a bomb of a hole. Gotta hit a gap off the tee and there is an OB ditch near the basket. It's pushin 1000'.

10 is another par 4 and you cant tell but it is in the woods and is a tunnel shot the whole way.

the rest pretty much play in or around the woods we have left. 16 17 & 18 are not finalized but they will be in those basic areas.

I have to give it to you. It looks like you've done a good job with the materials provided. I may actually make the 6 hour drive to play this course. okay it's only 3.5 hours.

thanks. Its hard to tell on this map but holes 10 11 & 13 are all in the woods for the most part. hole 12 is open but iwll have a tricky green with a raised basket. hole 14 is in the open with the basket tucked in the woods. hole 15 is the same. 16 17 & 18 will be thick tight wooded holes.

i'd like it better if you overlaid the course on to google earth so we can see the terrain better, quit being so lazy.

I got to thinking about what you said about some of the holes being is really thick woods. be careful when you are clearing. We got some mean ass snakes in Eastern NC. and don't make holes people can get killed playing.
