Someone has to be able to verify that this person has played this many courses. Has anyone on DGCR played with him?

I hate to think someone would try to claim that that have played half of all the courses int he country just for fame and glory so I am hoping this is the truth, and I will bow to him as a king of course whoring. However, if noone else can verify anything, I will have to be slightly in doubt. I mean people were shocked when I had played 200 courses in my first 2 years in the game.

Teh_Wood . . .how long have you been playing this game?

I've played with him and he is quite a modest guy. So I cant vouch for all his courses played I can say he didnt seem like one to exagerate in order to brag. When he was in Louisville he could be found on the course at all times and sweeping the local leagues. Good guy with hella skill.

Damn guys, this is pretty sad. Lets bash on James here because he hasn't devoted all his time to bragging and updating info on the internet. "Link or it didn't happen," DGCR center of the world mentality. I love this site for it's wealth of knowledge and networking, but the level of elitism is very un-true to the sport.

Played twice as many courses as anyone? Surviving off random draws? Already been accused of not getting permission to play a private course? Saying that pressing "Mark as Played" isn't fun? Guys either the biggest bada$s ever, or it's time to pull out the torches and pitch forks!

I can neither confirm or deny. If guy can tell me more about the situation by which be played I would probably remember it. I remember just about everyone who has ever been out there. I have been at the course every time it has been played with the exception of my buddy who is very local and plays twice a week (usually) by himself (luke, aka. luckiest dude alive).

I'm not bashing the guy, but you would think with all the whopla that went on when Ben Calhoun and Gregg Hosfeld passed 1000 courses played each, that he might have stepped up and said something... I don't really know, but I do know Ben and Danhyzer and I know how much work they went through to play 1/2 that many. It just seems surprising that James didn't come forward before this. Again, not bashing the guy, just curious.
