Base plastic in all brands have the worst stamps by default...I don't hold that against any of them though.

I like the disc. The name isn't my favorite, but the stamp should be cool!

Check out DC's announcement on Facebook. Most people in the comments like the name, further proving that we forum dwellers are not the target market we like to make ourselves.

I'm not sure that proves anything. Only DC fans are going to be going to their FB page and posting, and I'm sure they remove any negative comments.

^ sounds about right....we advocate using discs that actually match our arm speeds, yet warp speed drivers sell like hotcakes....further proof that we are not the major market, but rather we are the 'informed' market.

I like killing (video game) zombies, been doing it since 96 when I was a freshman playing Resident Evil on the original Playstation

"No date has been set for release to retailers."

Conspiracy theory:
Stall on production until enough players request the disc be made.

(but maybe they're just waiting til the spring and nicer weather)
(or they're not waiting at all, just don't have a date set..)

On the name:
If the disc never gets produced, the name doesn't really matter.

Just like Zeppelin, Zombee might just be a "throwaway" name.

For example, Swarm could have been used for a bee-like name, but they may want to save that for a more true mid / actual production disc if this disc never gets produced.

^All speculation.

Well then, let's all post negative comments on their Facebook page. We'll see if they get deleted...

We may all get banned from the page as well...However, I'm willing to bet if anyone wants to give it a shot that DC will delete a post calling the name Zombee stupid. I would if I was their admin...It's a company page that is an extension of their marketing.
