Dont worry about what other people are doing, just play your game....and stay inbounds.

Have fun, enjoying the company of other like minded individuals. Try to take on each hole individualy, don't let one bad hole ruin your round. Make some new friends, and HAVE FUN!

Don't rush! Play at your own pace and if other people have to wait, that's their problem (within reason).

I rush and it messes me up.

In Int. you won't need to play like a hero, just focus on not messing up and avoiding bogeys.

Relax and have fun. You'll probably be nervous as hell until hole three. I've only played two tournaments but plan to play a lot more in 2013.

GOOD CALL! Definitely be somewhat familiar with the course. If you can get a practice round in the day before and take some mental/written notes this can help greatly.
In the only tourney Ive played in I felt that I had one up on everyone in our group bc I was the only one who had previously played the course.

This... play within yourself, and make putts inside the circle

Also don't carry a bad hole to the next hole
