Post anything besides Tradewinds near Miami/Ft Laud?

I might be in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area in early January. The only 3 star
or above course seems to be Tradewinds. Are there any other good golf options?

30 mins north of Tradewinds is Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach. It's pretty good if it's not too far out of your way. It's a younger version of Tradewinds (mostly open, usually very windy, water hazards) with a decent amount of elevation shots. The course plays around a couple of hills and lakes. It doesn't have concrete pads yet (the local club has permission from the park but they are still raising funds) and limited navigation signage (club working on this also); otherwise, it plays challenging and has two sets of tees. It's my course of choice when I go down to south Florida to visit my folks. Tradewinds is fun as well but I think Okeeheelee will be better once the concrete pads are installed and more signage is added.

I don't know what other parks are around, but I have to recommend going to Butterfly world if you do go to Tradewinds. I think it's on the same property and it's freakin awesome.

tradewinds is my home course - i play there often.

it's a fun course but more fun if you can find a local to show you around. there are a few hidden holes.

check out easterlin as well - it's only 10-15 minutes from tradewinds.

short technical holes. really fun. a combination of open and wooded holes at easterlin. you could play the entire course with a mid and putter.
