Thumbs up 2 - 18 Hole Courses - Jonesboro, AR
Well, this has been a long time coming.

I have been trying for years to get more baskets in the ground here in Jonesboro, Arkansas and it looks as if it is about to become a reality.

The plan is to be open in March of 2013.

One short, beginner friendly (Rec) course and one long, mean (Championship) course. Check out all the details at: http://www.discsideofheaven.com The site is still under construction and it will be updated as the course work begins. There is a sponsorship link on the website if anyone is interested in helping in any way.

These two courses on the same property will soon be a great destination for everyone in and around the Mid-South.

The hole looks nice, especially if downhill. Hopefully, the net elevation drop tee-to-pin is at least 20-25 feet or those hole lengths might be a little long for each skill level.

Got to love Sunny and 69 degree weather on December 1 & 2. Got a lot of clearing done this past weekend. In fact, if the baskets were in, holes 1-4, 6, 7 & 9 on the Rec Course are all playable. Will upload another picture from the website here so you can see #9.

Just how big are 'Old growth oak trees'? Here are my 7 and 5 year old boys holding up the tree that protects #9's basket
