Weekend update:

98% of the property has been mowed. It looks fantastic!

Was able to do some clearing on the Rec Course back 9... Holes 15, 16, & 17 are starting to shape up. #16 is going to be even better than I first imagined with three different routes to the pin (Sky Hyzer being the thrid that I did not visualize until seeing it again this weekend)

@CjkDisc. #14 is a bit downhill, probably more like 15 feet. The distances are all an educated guess at this point using Google Earth and stepping them off. Once we get closer to installation we will look harder at the actual distance.

Try to take some more pictures this weekend and get them uploaded.

Also, looking like the Grand Opening Tournament will be sometime in April instead of March simply due to tournament conflicts in and around the area. Should still be open to the public March 15-17.

Number 11 on the Rec Course starting to take shape. Shortest hole in Heaven, but the basket is about 35 feet above the tee.

Well that didn't work. Tried to link photos from the Facebook page to here. If you want to see two new pictures, log on to FB. Search for "Disc Side of Heaven" and it should take you right to them.

I have been concentrating on the Rec Course lately. It needs a lot more clearing than the Champ Course before playable.

Remember, right now the length is just an educated guess with Google Earth and stepping them off. Once baskets are installed and tees built, I will update with actual length.

Let's try those pictures again.

There are several wide open shots too. But they don't look good for pictures. Here is a shot of the tightest hole on the entire property. Hole #15 on the Rec Course.

Another good weekend of some clearing, and thanks to the snoozer that is the BcS National Championship game, I had some time this evening to make a couple more images for the website. Also, thanks to the five inches of snow Jonesboro received the day after Christmas, these shots have a little flair to them. Here are two more from the Rec Course:

Two good weekends of work. Still on track for a Mid-March opening.

Here are a couple of the more open holes where you can really let it fly.

Many more updates. This Global Warming thing is really, really bad. BUT, it really helps when installing a disc golf course!

First picture is the first of two bridges that will cross Grayson's Creek.
