Nockamixon State Park in PA

If you ever wanted to play Nocky in pristine tournament conditions now is your chance. Think you can break the gold level par 68....I doubt it. We've spent over a week freshening up the toughest course ever used in a World's Format. Also perhaps the prettiest of the insaner East Coast woods beasts. Fairways and Airways are clear so if you wanna experience one of the holy trinity of big drive east coast woods golf (Iron Hill and Nevin are the others) get out and challenge yourself. I hope some of you have heard about Nocky come out and give a shot. This weekend will be the annual Nockamixon Hoo Doo tournament....course should be in spectacular shape all fall.

I can't imagine trimming all the fairways there, so many of them are rocky and must be impossible to mow.

Not playing the tourney, but may try to get out there soon! Not for the faint of heart, but will force you to throw every shot you have.

For a short while I lived right down the street from there in Quakertown, back when the back half was just poles for targets. I'd love to get back up there and play it again. It would be a completely different experience.

It really wasn't terrible, I didn't ding my rating for the conditions when I played. I'm just impressed that you guys do go trim all those rocky fairways, you must do a lot of it by hand.
