I like my Tern, it has been fairly consistent so far.
It makes the bag.

the D1 and D4 do not.

Where is this 10% from? Sounds skewed. I can only think of a handful of people not over 900, most at are girls...

So the tern huh...

You were both right. Destiny Discs changed their name to Dynamic Discs(not the one in Kansas) in the late 80's.

"Overall, the PDGA estimates 7 to 10 million people have
played disc golf at least once with around 5 million regular players" (PDGA, 2004a).

With less than 60,000 rated players it would almost be more accurate to say less than 2% of all disc golfs are rated 900 or higher.*

*I think my math is right.

Just got my tern this morning (wine color) and took it out to my local snow covered course. I would say the assessment of it being like a GL sword is fairly accurate. Although I would say I like the tern much better as it seems to trump the sword in terms of glide. Some may not agree but that's what I found, as it seems to kick into a second gear of glide similar to what my saint does and what I thought I'd get out of my sword. Haven't had an innova driver impress me and stay in my bag since the sidewinder, but I'm grateful that I caved and ordered a tern and def see myself getting at least one more. I typically only throw 9 speed drivers but the tern is def gunna be my new max distance driver. Plz make more discs with glide like the tern Innova!

I got to test this disc and it INSTANTLY made my bag. The Tern is going to be popular. I'm already expecting first runs to be cherished. Putting mine in the vault.

Dude 95% of people don't even have a rating.....and the vast majority of those are sub-900 players.

I know A LOT of sub-900 players.
