I'm throwing Quantum Astras, an Archon variant. The thing I like about them is they have virtually no turn, but are long and straight with minimal fade at the end. VERY controllable. The Tern has a swoopy Katana-like flight. Precision and control don't seem to be its strengths. Beast, Bolt, and even the DD2 are straighter than the Tern, in my experience.
Are Quantum Astras regular production now?

A bunch just showed up at our Academy. Their new Mill. discs are Q-Astra and Scorpius, and the Blizz equivalent of the Quasar.

I have not given up on it totally, but don't trust it in rounds where I care about the score. Love my Archon and Astra, but they don't turn all the way over for me unless into a wind. I need more time to throw in the fields before a final decision. In any event, my Pro Destro is getting more flippy by the round, and may end up where I wanted the Mamba to be anyway.

Interesting, thanks for the heads up.

Also after reading this thread, I don't think many dgcers realize how many experienced, I carry 25 discs in a 100$+ bag players there are that literally buy one or two of every new Innova driver to try out. "Hey man have you seen the Krait? "Yo you try a Dominator yet?" "Just got this Teedevil, its supposed to be kind of like a Destroyer."

I see experienced people gobble this stuff up as much as anyone. Smart business moves for Innova but I wonder what position they'll be in a few years down the road?

Oh well, haven't tried out the Tern yet, but the Dominator flew nicely the two times I threw one.

I'm new and like stuff, so I buy just about all I can. Should have seen me in my equipment stage of golf. I'd have 5 sets of irons at one time and go through 10 drivers in a year.

^^ yea i threw a 168 Dominator the other day and I was very impressed. it's got a late turn with a predictable fade.

I think they are. Bought my 2 about 3 months back. Sparkle quantum, stock Q Astra stamp, no run # though. Normal dome, plastic is kinda slick though compared to other sparkle quantum.

i was just handed a 162 sparkle astra to try out
i only got to throw it a couple times
first throw was way low, but it just hovered about a foot off the ground, and went straight for about 200 feet before it finally hit the ground
