Different KC Aviars 8x, 9x and 10x

I have recently switched from soft dx aviars to 12x KC pro aviars. I'm really loving the clean, consistent release and my putting and confidence has noticeably improved. I know that a lot of the top pros in the world swear by 10x aviars. Can someone please describe why these are so collectible and can someone explain whats makes them great to putt with! I'm also curious as to the differences between the 8x 9x and 10x aviars. Thanks in advance for all the knowledge!

So far as I know, there was no 8X KC Pro Aviar. The 9X was pre-Aviar X; it's not as beefy. The 10X was beefy and the plastic was stiff. They were just fantastic Aviars. There have been some runs of 12X that I thought were just as beefy and stiff as the 10X, but then others that were soft and not so beefy. The 10X were just consistently awesome.

Yeah, so far as I know, after the 9x, all KC Aviars are the same BB mold. The 10x are great plastic -- really firm with a soft/grippy feel. Some of the 11x are similar in awesomeness, but some are more like the 12x plastic, which is slightly slicker to the touch, and feel less dense and take dings and dents more easily. They all fly pretty well the same.
