2nd run textured Ions

Ok...here is my question for all you MVP fans.

"Did MVP make soft 2nd run textured Ions?"

I have two mediums that I use for my driving putter but would like to find a 2nd run soft textured Ion for putting duties.

How do you know its a second run? I'm selling an opaque soft textured ion right now in the marketplace.

well....I'm not an expert on Ions but I know the first runs were blue with the red rim. The 2nd run Ions were textured around the rim of the disc. If you have ever seen a Stormtrooper Ion...that is a 2nd run textured Ion.

Okay, then yes, I'm selling one in the marketplace. It is textured on the bottom inside the rim. Pink, soft, 175.

Yes, they definitely made soft ones with the textured bottom. My main putter is an unstamped, soft, textured bottom Ion. I have a few of them and a few mediums with the textured bottom.

I own a proton stormtrooper ion that is not textured. I believe it is a third run.

I think United Puppy Slayers signature contains a link about different ion runs.

Radio pretty much answered this.. Not all storm troopers were 2nd run. They did have some 3rds and now Neutron.

I'm pretty sure the info is still in there.

Not sure where people are getting info about "2nd" and "3rd" runs. I bet mvp made multiple runs of each of those toolings. The only run that was distinctive was the first run. It would be safer to describe them just as they are, textured or non-textured and soft or medium.

Here comes Steve crying about our terminology... Get over it. People are going to say it no matter what you say.
