Agreed this course is extremely boring. Went to Chicago in August from the Minneapolis/St Paul area and played 4 courses on my way, played Hiestand in Madison which was awesome, played the Adler random dubbs league which was a fun event with cool people there but crappy baskets, played Mokena which has an exclusive country club feel when you go in there with a cool fountain and Highland Park in Joliet. Highland is a fun course, loved the guarded basket on hole 13. The Oaks is a really boring course, I compared it to CP adams in Hastings Minnesota, mostly open holes with a few trees and repetitive shots.

Now to my throw I got a 2 on it, threw a emac buzzz ss and putted with a soft 4 chain magnet
