Bald Eagle Disc Golf Course, WI

This is my winter project, on a small wooded piece of property in rural Wisconsin. My dream of living on a piece of property that I can build a disc golf course has become a reality for now. The camp I work and live at is excited about the new disc golf course that I am in the process of installing. I will keep this thread updated as well as log the progress in my blog. Once it is complete, I will invite any and all DGCR members to join me for a round.

If only I could see through the trees . . . I imagine it is nice clean woods with no buckthorn or underbrush? Are there already lanes created by open area and the walking path or does this need tree removal?

I wish you luck in this adventure, I am getting involved in some designs as we speak and I seriously feel like a little kid filled with excitement about laying out more courses. I feel like it might be my calling.

I will come visit for sure!

That's great to hear, it seems like I never see any new WI courses in this forum.

Tons of underbrush clearing needs to be done, it's not going to be a walk in the park.

6" of fresh powdery snow will slow down my progress a little bit, but I'm still going strong at it. Hole 1/A is nearly clear, I'll bring my skillshot out and play it this afternoon.

1 hole every couple of days! Nice job . . . it looks good and like a fun hole. Does that tree on the "Opening" picture split the fairway or do you want to stay left? I couldn't tell if the angle was off on the camera shot.
