How do you play 17 short at Buckhorn? Do you always go for it or lay it up?

I've always liked Comets. In fact I own 8,but I carry only 4 in my bag.Every person I come across who is just starting out I suggest to them to go and buy a Comet.

I've always wondered. What exactly makes a Comet such a great disc?I know of a few things, but I just wanted to get your take on this.

MJ, help me select my first Disccraft plastic. I got a gift cift. to buy some discs and thought I would use it toward my first DC plastic.

I have only thrown Innova plastic. I am RHBH. Like mostly understable discs. I throw a Beast, Leopard,Teebirds and a TL as drivers. I have mostly DX, some Pro and Champ plastics. I like the feel of DX. I use my Birds for mids as well, I throw them well and they release from my hand nicely. I have problems with most mids that are deep and domey (like skeeters and makos) I generally can drive 250-300', I cant throw far, but most of the time I am pretty good accuracy wise.

I know the comet is a given for a mid. What would you suggest for a fairway type driver?

Thank you for your help and your presence on DGCR.

I thought MJ threw well...Matty O on the other hand...FIRE. 45 at Fontanel (I think this is new course record, previously held by Will at 47 or 48), including birds on the last 7 holes straight I think. Lights out.

I had a lot of fun out there playing. Lots of challenging shots to have to learn for each course, so it was a damn enjoyable time trying to do that

Sorry bout the delay on the response, been a bit distracted lately

For fairway drivers, i recommend xl's, cyclones, and maybe stalkers or trackers
