there are definitely alot of options out there to throw now, and quite a few that i dont know much about right now. You guys are going to make me have to learn what they all do

I just got my first SE ESP Comet in a trade, so, naturally: there's a blizzard.

I don't know if I'll ever bag Comets, but I've convinced my buddy to do Comet+putter rounds with me, where we're required to throw the Comet off the tee. I need to fix my 'rounding' issues on hyzer drives (90% of my drives) and he needs to stop a wrist roll. The first round is going to be hi-larious.

i'll gladly answer, i didnt enjoy the rules they had set up this year. I felt like i was just hanging out with my friends playing a practice round, and if you screwed up you would say hang on guys i need another shot at this one before we go! Its just not the type of golf i like playing. If its like that next year i will probably not play or try to qualify.
Everyday i went and played a round of golf somewhere in town after my rounds. Usually i am so worn out after a round there i go home and space out for a while before i can even think of doing anything

Just want to thank you MJ for taking a bit of time and "chatting" with us.

I think I'll take something from your putting style, and not pour over each putt too much. It seems like the longer I think about a putt, the less chance it has of hitting chains.

MJ how do you like the new long #1 at bradford? I got to ask you quickly after you had first seen the hole but never got to after the Open when you had played it a little more.

This is true for me. I have a busy brain, so the longer I take in my stance, the crappier the result. It's counter-intuitive, but if I 'rush' it, I often do better.

If I'm not mistaken, you're still the course pro for HN?

This is probably a better question for the CDGC forum, but since we have you as a captive audience...

I played last Sunday there, and it seems like it's still set up mostly in the World's layout. Any idea if/when it's going to go back to the full-on Nest/Web layout?
