It seems you had something going on in life which I didn't when I discovered disc golf. One of my drinking buddies called me and said some clowns were doing some frisbee demonstration in a park near his house. I drove over and watched them. They invited me to join them and 2 weeks later I was playing in Raleigh at the Kentwood Christmas Classic. I got new drinking buddies and a new hobby.

once i got hooked it was game over, but it took finding different people who played, so could see what these damn things could do
