I'd like to add to the mix of how cool it was to have Brittany and you at the Little River Open. Got a Roc3 signed by you and won your CTP signed disc that you put back in the raffle. You were a class act and that final 9 was intense. If Steve made that 70 ft headwind putt to tie it on 18 i think the crowd would have went bonkers. The ace run on a 550ft hole 3 in the final 9 was crazy. Hopefully you get your disc back from hole 7. Or you might find it on here in the Marketplace. hah. Anyway, was a great tourney, a great turnout, and was fun watchin you. Hope to see you again next year!

I noticed you filmed your football trick shots video at Linbergh park in Costa Mesa, is this where you practice drives?

Im throwing a 172 and its nice and straight. Would a 180g be more overstable or should I try to find one of the CFR Glows?
i noticed the glow are a bit softer but have a similar flight. if you find a flat or hard Roc3 that will probably be more stable

the course is has potential just a bit rough because its new. the par 4s and water holes are sweet.

Currently i would say Devan Owens is the best. I wouldn't say any courses favor anyone because at the top level most players can throw any shot.

They don't have a lot of TD experience and I'm sure they will figure out and fix all of the issues they were having in the future. I volunteered to help with whatever I could. I was in the tent all Saturday and most of Sunday. I did, however, get to watch your and Brittany's final 9.

As for the course, Little River DGC is still in it's infancy. Four months ago, most of the front nine still didn't have baskets in. 5 and 8 were still being carved out of the trees. Having played there quite a few times during the last five months, there have been some dramatic playability changes. The first time I played 8 (long), I took my best score on that hole (5) and haven't been able to match it since. There were A LOT more trees in the fairway and there was only one approach to the green (to the right, the clearing from the fairway to the green on the left was a wall of trees and thorns). The only thing that I really don't like about the course is the long walk from 17 to 18 and some of the really short holes (to a much lesser extent).

I hope you, and Brittany, enjoyed the tournament even though there were some SNAFUs (and some major wind) along the way. It was a pleasure to at least shake your hand and thank you as you were leaving the tent for the final time.
I know it was new and a first time thing, i let sparky know that it only gets easier from there. the tournament can become big especially if the town of moore stays behind disc golf

Glad you enjoyed it! I was hoping steve made it, I wanted the pressure on my put to see what I was made of. I told the TD to give that roc to a kid that helped get one of my discs out of the creek earlier so hopefully thats how it works out with that disc.

If you can for 1 day be another current pro disc golfer, who would you be?

What's your favorite hyzerflip driver?

Paul,
How often do you throw:
Tomahawks
Thumbers
Forehand Putts
Grenades

Just wondering how often you use speciality shots, or if you don't use them at all, or you throw a different shot not mentioned? If so.. what discs do you use for each of the above mentioned...
