I think they were supposed to get snow, have you looked into that? Now that I think of it, HCR is going to be much more difficult to follow if there's snow (all of the tees will be buried and invisible), and slippery on some of the steep parts, there were tee posts recently installed that will help, but plan some extra time into your round for wandering around, or ideally find a guide.

HCR might not have snow. I'm about 70 miles south and we got about 6 inches but you can call up there and ask them. there are no course maps and no one at the lodge has much knowledge about the course other then where it starts. its in a very beautiful part of arkansas in will be well worth the drive. I LOVE HCR!

Ha, I hope the map on here is accurate!

I did talk to someone at The Lodge, and he didn't mention anything about snow. As long as I don't need ribbon I should be OK!

The map looks very accurate. Hole 2 plays over the zip line platform. 15 will be an adventurewith the bridge closed...

I don't know your timeline, but north Arkansas college is worth checking out too (might be impossible to navigate in the snow...

Another thing I thought of, if it's fresh snow, it's going to be a very difficult drive out of HCR on the driveway depending on your vehicle.

Very little snow. Got some wet shoes at Horseshoe but nothing major at all. Tulsa is free and clear as well.

As for Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, I understand why they called it that. The canyon is shaped like a horseshoe. But it will always be Horse**** Canyon Ranch to me.
