I was just playing devil's advocate. They don't really bother me. When you have a crappy little hole it is a good idea to try and improve it. That is a really well kept and maintained course, and those walls take some time and effort to build.

Sure the par should be considered. Maybe par should be set to 1020 rated, that would lower the uber under par rounds. Maybe part of the problem is because of the Super Gold players being 40 points higher than the scratch player. So you would be accounting for players that range from 960-1040 to average 1000. That's a big gap in skill level and scoring! I'll also say a 200' second shot to the basket can be great for even the super gold depending on the elevation, woods and maybe even bunkers.
