I hear ya. I am always a little worried about stuff being pushed back, especially since I was one of the ill-fated Flak pre-orderers. However, it seems like they have the date dialed in, and quite a few of their own players sporting them seems to support that.

I was suprised at how small it looks in the pics, but with the vertical design. I guess you can make it more compact. Come on May 1st!
Yep, the green seems like it will have some pop, but not too much. Less than a month, at least!

Just checked Facebook to see if there was any word. Nothing... No news is good news, right?

Just saw some good footage as they finished up. The hip/waist strap seems to be riding very high on these guys.

The nice part about that strap is that you can hide it (which is good, because it does look a little silly, in my opinion). Break it out for tough terrain, or stash it on flatlands. Again, this bag really has the multiple configurations down.

Edit: I hope I am doing my best job at emulating the rampant fanboyism that accompanies membership on the forums.

Yeah it was good to get a size of these on different people.

The thing that has always worried me about jumping to a backpack style, is the frame of the bag is one size. It would seem unlikely that a bag that fits comfortably for female player (let's say Sarah H.) and then fit equally as well for a male who is 6'5".

Most all traditional backpack manufacturers that make technical backpacking gear, have multiple frame sizes so that weight is distributed where it should be. If my wife and I walk into REI, there is no way we walk out with the same backpack.
