i was finally able to get me two blacks Mcpros. cant wait to give these a try. the three putters i have in the bag now are: 1997 DX PnA aviar, Black 3X Yeti, and Protege Clutch. i think these will fit in nicely...

They are firmer than DX P & A Aviars. but otherwise feel the same to me. For me, they seem to release cleaner, and produce less wobble. This is possibly due to the increased stiffness, but I am not sure.

I've thrown many putts with my DX and McPro alternating, as well as in a row, and I would have much rather not liked the McPros since they are more expensive, but they won out for me. Much more consistent release. (or just hide my errors, not sure which it is yet) But overall they feel the same for me. I haven't found them to be too slick or anything like some folks have.

I putted with DX Aviars (Grid and PnA) until these came out. For a pitch putt, these are pure money. Really clean release. However, I could see them being a little more difficult to handle in inclement weather.

So whats the verdict, these things any good? What are peoples impressions? Are they outstanding putters or just P&A's in a better plastic?

If you like the p/a, i think you'll really like these (that's what happened to me). I really like these, and just bought a couple more yesterday. they just come out of my hand very smooth and consistent. That is 100% what i want in a putter. After that it's all up to me to aim it correctly.

With my dx i had some inconsistent wobble out of my hand. With my even softer JK's, there was even more wobble. So that leads me to believe the more consistent release is based on the stiffness of the plastic. (my form hasn't changed much in the last week)

But if you are comfortable with your putter, don't change for any new putter.

That plus supporting a guy who seems like a good dude is cool to me.
