Stability Gap Volt and Shock

Has anyone noticed that there is a hole in stability between the Volt and Shock? I only have one of each 171 Neon Yellow Volt and 174 White Shock. My Volt is a bit flippy and my Shock is pretty OS. I have about 350-380 ft of power for them as reference.

Are there some colors of Volts that will be more stable or some colors of Shocks that will be less stable? Looking for suggestions.

I have noticed the same, if you can find a domey volt, it will be your best bet, but there is some room for something in there. Shock hss with amp fade!!!

Maybe you could try beating in a Shock. In Mike C's last video, his Shock flipped to flat from a hyzer.

I'd sell you my First Run White Disc Nation stamped Amp, but I use it all the time to drive off the tee.

I have the misfit MVP First Runs. My FR Amp is more stable than my Volt, my FR Shock is less stable than my Volt. My Volt is just right and plays just like the second Volt I got to back it up. I use all 3 all the time. Now I've thrown the current version of the Amp - but I'm not buying it until I loose my FR Shock cuz I know exactly how to use it. This morning I parked hole 8 at Delaveaga with my FR Shock - it turned over just enough to sail 330 feet down the right side of this tunnel, then fade 10 feet from the Pin. Good Times

One day I'll try the current version of the Shock, but I'm pretty sure I need to throw farther before I could put it to good use.

I haven't noticed stability differences between the different colors neutron, unlike innova and discraft

I just bought a domeyish pink 172 volt to replace my flat 173 yellow volt and the pink with dome is noticeably more stable then the flat yellow.

I agree with them^^. Domey Volt if you can find it. Domey MVP has always been slightly more overstable in my experience.

Can't find a domey Volt? Do what I did and get a domey DD fusion Escape to bridge the stability difference between Volt and Shock. That was easier for me to find than a domey Volt.
