Harry Myers (Rockwall) is probably one of the best. Both of the Lester Lorch courses in Cedar Hill are very good. Also Z Boaz (West Ft Worth / Benbrook) is pretty great. Where in DFW are you going to be?

If you are in dallas, I'd suggest courses over there. I do not recommend z-boaz due to high traffic.

Lake Lewisville is a solid course with dynamic disc store near by,
Gateway Park in Ft Worth is a great course, probably my favorite of the lot.
Turner Park is fun as well, different variety of shots needed.
Audubon is a good course as well.
Two courses at Cedar Hill are both good, one is tight and technical, other is more open and longer.
I haven't played harry meyers due to it being 60 miles away, but I believe it's a local favorite.

Also, I'm curious to what concert

Z Boaz can get ridiculously busy, so you may want to pick something else, unless you're already on the west side of the metroplex.

You have good options near Dallas and in Fort Worth. Where you going to be exactly? Harry Myers and Turner have great par 4 type holes. If you come down 75, Towne Lake is good, Muson just the other side or the boarder is fun, long with elevation changes and low tree branches. If you come down 35E Lewisville Lake Park is a classic. On the South end of the metroplex you have Lester Lorch with 2 fun courses in one park and Crossroads close by that is worth playing. Gateway is a battle if you have the nerve and the time. Z-boaz in Ft Worth is great but can get busy. Most the stuff rated 3.5 and up is worth playing.

Could always play Bicentennial, Weatherford or Gateway

Bicentennial is my home course, and I loves it. Gateway can be a pain for real though, if you want challenging gateway is perfect

Bicentennial is a regular course for us down here. But I'm in Johnson County, so it's convenient for us.

Haha, yeah but think about all the shots it offers. The range of short and long, the elevation of up and down. It's really a wonderful course for someone who wants to play a course that has almost everything.

If we could add 1 long hole like a par 4 or 5, we'd have everything except an island hole lol.
