Will be playing Bradford (#82?) on Monday for the first time and one other, maybe Smith, after lunch. Anyone that wants to show some SC boys the local lines - we'll be there around 10.

Renny is a must play if you're just visiting, and you could probably still enjoy the Nest afterward and not be in too bad of shape....that from a sub-900 player.

Contact Schleppy for Bradford. He practically lives there.

Played Nevin, Hornet's Nest, Renny Gold, RL Smith, Bradford, Reedy, and Eastway over our little 3.5 day vacation. Wow, just amazing disc golf in this area.

you could have reasons to play all of them. and the ones i voted for aren't necessarily my favorites.

but:

bradford, eastway, kilborne, sugaw, and winget.

i feel sugaw is pretty underrated. plenty of variation from wooded to open to short to long. great course. fun but still pretty challenging.

eastway is nice because you aren't in the woods as much as other charlotte courses. some longer holes but open and fair for any skill level.

bradford is just sweet. several potential signature/throw a few disc holes.

kilborne is old school and shouldn't be neglected. tight-ish and technical but fair even though it's mostly in the woods.

and winget is probably my favorite as far as scenery. mostly shorter holes but you have to hit your line or it's a scramble.

i didn't vote for renny gold. but it's a beast. and a heck of a course. a lot more thought required to get around there than your typical course. and even when it's a beat down, it's good experience to have. you could also play renny black to lighten things up a bit.

edit: just a bit late. ha. hope you enjoyed it.

Yeah, one of the good stories I heard while in Charlotte was that a dude went (-17) at Bradford and that #12 was the only hole he parred. Not sure if that's urban legend or factuality.

Absolute fact. It was MJ and he did it in the Worlds.
