MVP Shock

Ended up getting tomorrow off work, so I'll be taking these puppies out!

5) Seems to barely turn when you really rip it but never looked like it was gonna turn& finish hard right.

Looks pretty similar to the volt to me...i was hoping for more hss

Yeah that definitely does not fly like my new 170 CPD! Looks like an amazing disc if you have enough power for a 10 speed. It looks like if you give it a little hyzer it will flip up and fly very straight for a long time without turning much and then fade quite a bit, like an orc or eagle. If it is anything like an orc or eagle it will be a fantastic straight flying control driver that is good even with some headwind for both BH and FH.

I like it, but I'm really failing to see how it's different than the Volt...I don't throw with Mike C's power-level, so I'm assuming it will be different for me...hopefully less turn. Unfortunatley I'll be out of town for 10 days, so I won't be here to grab my Shock when it comes in the mail!

It took me a few times out to understand the shock

I had to get out of my head any ideas it could fly a volt. Because you can make it do some of those lines, it just doesn't excel at those lines.

Doesn't it seem like the 3 MVP drivers are all just very subtle variations of the same thing? Kind of like 3 discs of the same mold that have been beaten in to varying degrees?

Yeah to some it will seem that way

But they all have different wings, and not just by parting line. For example, I get a lot of people in-store who tell me their OLF flies like a Valkyrie. Well yeah they both share some lines when thrown certain ways. But if spend time with both discs and learn the strengths you see where the olf and Valkyrie are different

It's always going to be different strokes for different folks. That's why we have do many discs to choose from to begin with.

I was really hoping this thing would be a zero turn driver. Even after reading ZJ and ZAM's reviews, I held out hope. However, after seeing Mike video, I can't deny it. Bummer.
