there is aboslutely NO ANSWER for this question. So ignore it. Just worry about accuracy. Distance will come. I started 4 years ago, was getting a beast about 200, but I'm up over 400 now. Time and practice will bring distance. But accuracy and putting is where you save strokes. ESPECIALLY putting.

Up your game son, Wiggins had that smashed at that age

J/k, that's impressive, farther than I can throw.

Focus on your rating.....seriously!

I throw about the same distance as when i was 16....and am rated WAY higher

Break 900 by 13 and you are doing very well....930-970 by 16 and you are also doing very well.

Im 19 and throwing 450max. Plateauing right now, but I'm not entirely focused on that right now. I'm working on control and finesse for tight shots and placements. And there is always room for putting practice.

In my school (not experienced DG kids)

4-5: 20-60ft
6-7: 50-80ft
8-9: 70-120ft
10-11: 90-135
12-13: 120-160
14-15: 150-200
*discs thrown = 150 class leopards, 150 sharks, 138 Elements, 150 class Magics.

This is a rough estimate based on the last unit, but you do have me wanting to test this using a more scientific method and put up real accurate stats using only one type of disc and accounting for wind.

With this being said I do know a 12 year old who throws well over 200 and a 15 year old that was throwing over 400. The kids on the course are probably going to be outside the estimates given, these numbers would be most accurate for school children, boy scout groups, ect.
