Redding from Sacramento - 01/29-01-31

I'm taking a trip up to Redding next Tuesday the 29th, most likely returning Thursday night, possibly Friday morning. Leaving from Sacramento early on Tuesday. Here's the course list:

Willows Rotary DGC
Dog Island Golf
Bend Elementary School
Anderson River Park
Black Butte DGC
Pine Grove
Buckeye
Deer Meadow
Horsetown
Enterprise Community Park

If anyone would like to join me or meet me at any of the courses for a round, please let me know. Also any updated information about the courses is always appreciated; I haven't played any of these before.

Pine grove just had 6 tones stolen from the course. Let me know when you will be at Black Butte and I'll try and make it out there.

Awesome, sounds great MikePinchico. I'm guessing it will either be late in the afternoon on Tuesday or early Wednesday morning when I get to Black Butte. If one of those times works better than the other for you let me know and I can adjust my schedule.

Pine grove is tough to follow, I had a guide. It would be sweet if someone could get a map. If your going all the way to Deer Meadows you should play junction City and the other 18 holer right next to it. Horsetown isnt to bad to follow if you have a map. Im sure the course has been put back together since the fires in the summer.

Oh yeah, and by Black Butte I mean the one in Shingletown, not Black Butte Lake in Orland. I've already played that course, but would be down to make a stop there after Willows Rotary and play a round with you. It will be around 8:30-9AM Tuesday morning when I'll be in that area.

Thanks lion, good call. I didn't even see those when planning the road trip. They are now added, directly after Deer Meadows.

Enterprise is where I started. Short teepads are SHORT. Longs are ok. Fun course, plenty of smoking drinking locals at hole 1 to ask questions . Anderson River is a fun course also.

I really liked Anderson and buckeye, enterprise is ok.

Junction city is cool and weaverville's Lee fong courses are a nice one two punch. I'm jealous since Dear Meadows is on my wish list and it won't be a course I play until at least the summer.

Buckeye for being an Object course isn't that bad.. at least its the same object everytime.... Totally agree with ya lion. Anderson is the best course up that way then prolly Dog Island or the shasta complex.
