What course won't you play alone?

There's a 9 hole course outside the Flint, MI YMCA... I didn't feel comfortable playing it with 3 other people and honestly, you couldn't pay me to play it alone.

I've played a few rounds in sketchy neighborhoods (as my reviews will attest), but none so sketchy that I wouldn't play there alone in the middle of the day. I wouldn't play Rum Village or East Tacoma in the early evening hours though.

The only course I would never play alone would be Spirit Ridge, and that's because it's a private course and I CAN'T play it alone. That place is so wild that I wouldn't play it alone at night, but wouldn't be too concerned during the day. I'm just not as afraid of cougars and bears as I should be I guess.

Found drugs at Mt. Airy last summer. Will play again. (I ground it into the dirt and leaves)
I passed on playing a course near Sarasota, FL, because this dumb Hoosier don't know much about gators, and they were mentioned in a review.

Sugaw is I think the only good course in Charlotte that I haven't played yet because of its reputation. It just fell to the bottom of the list. Boyd Hill I've heard lots of bad things about, a local that guided me around Winthrop Lake front told me he wouldn't play there alone. The only courses I've played that would qualify here are Barber Park, Greensboro and Mazarick, Fayetteville. Neither would I want to play alone at dusk, but I have done that at Barber and never had any problems. They just don't scream safe area.

Boyd Hill(?), Rock Hill, SC. Our club president was robbed there.

Reedy Creek never scared me, but it's always crowded when I've played there.

Sugaw's not too bad during the day, often there's a cop in the parking lot. That area's not as dangerous as it was back when the Hidden Valley Kings were still in their heyday...but I did recently see some "living quarters" inside the big magnolia tree on #10.

There's a course I'll need to try and find on here, I don't have the time at the moment, maybe somebody can prerube it for me...

It's along the I-85 corridor between Charlotte and Atlanta. I've never played it, because at least 3 reviewers on here mentioned getting "hassled" by some dudes impersonating Sheriff deputies, with like fake, thrown together uniforms, wanting to "search the bags for drugs." Mmmmmmm no thanks.

I played Barber st once and saw two older black women playing there with golf bags. Even that didn't scare me.
