Question on the runup
So today while working, I was inevitably staring outside at the only sunny day we've had in weeks... and wishing I was out on the course. Which got me thinking about my form, and these set of pictures that my dad took while I was throwing (I didn't know he was taking... we were takings pics of the course not of my throwing)
Anyway, On the first picture you see my legs are pretty far apart. Is this right, or do I need to have a condensed run up and have the base foot so far from where I performed the X step? Also if you notice anything else say so ![]()

You might want to try kicking your back foot out, the first picture makes it look like your weight is not on your front foot

At least for me, I've noticed that when I have a wide step like that my hole body tends to dip down, thus causing my disc to pop nose up.

Just my opinion but, yes, your stance may be too wide. Maybe try concentrating on getting a solid plant with a shorter, more pronounced hop than a big slide.
I also noticed that your lead foot is almost pointing directly at the target. I've had much more success changing from that type of plant to a more perpendicular plant (foot perpendicular with the intended target). For reference, I am RHBH, use an x-step with full reach back (so that my eyes leave the target and my back is turned to it). On max distance drives I am reaching 400+ feet. Hope that helps.

so I gotta ask... did the disc make it over the pond? Looks pretty close from the last picture, but difficult to get depth perception. I really wish there was the picture of the time that splits the 1st 2 photos. The whole forward swing is missing.

I think one of the most important things you can do is step into the throw. When you have such a long stride in your run up it can be hard to it right.

you want your weight to be over your front foot when you release to keep your momentum through your throw. It looks like from the picture that you have a lot of weight behind your front foot. Think of trying to keep your hip above your foot when releasing.
