Question DyeMax process

Anyone know if dyemax or the other stuff like this is done with dye sublimation printing and then applying a heat press?

I have no proof but that's what I think it is. I can't wrap my brain around what they use in the underside to keep the pressure on the flight plate.

you should probably be asking DD this instead of a bunch of random dudes on an internet forum. they would know better than us, most likely. imho.

I did. This is the reply I got

Thank you for your interest in our DyeMax process, however we can not answer any questions about how our process works for legal reasons.*

they spent thousands of dollars figuring the process out, ... and you want it for free. yup, sounds legit.

Sh1t, B. I asked them a very specific question about one thing, not a "how do you do it" question. Now please, eat my shorts and leave this conversation.

They do it with lots of tiny little hammers with spiked tips that flow with dye...
