exactly- that's a lot of ground to catch up on foot even if you are sprinting and when I looked at it I assumed lines would not be straight to and from targets and tees which makes it even worse/further the longer it goes on...

But he is an 18-year-old college student at UCSB. Both his age, and his party school stamina, bode well for him.

Must be a permanent course.
Must be played in it's entirety, in order.
24 hour record? yes, it must be played in 24 hours continuously (running clock).
It must be a course recognized by the country's governing body, so it must be listed on PDGA.com, basically.

38 degrees at last report in Isla Vista (Santa Barbara). Brrrrrr. Started at about 50 yesterday at 9am, with a high of about 57.

Oh, no question, it's not THAT bad. I used to do an annual frisbee golf marathon to raise money for Diabetes research. Twice I got scared off the course by lightning, and once I got crushed by 120 degrees with 99% humidity (message board weather -- actuals were about 92 degrees with dewpoints in the high 70s). Anyway, yeah, 40-60 degrees is preferred to that, as long as there isn't big wind or precip.
