Nope. Out of the courses I played, Civic Center would be choice #1 for a record like that. (Edging out Flint YMCA at #2). I'm just sayin, theres probably more overall elevation change here than the course that was used. And those little slopes would add up after miles and miles. But don't get me wrong, im SURE the record COULD be broken here.

On that note, it would be cool to try to break other records at Civic Center. Maybe the most aces in a day record? Most aces in an hour? Lowest amount of strokes in a 9 hole round?

{Edit}

Looking back, I can't believe I forgot about this course- Fort Shawnee DGC - Lima, OH

I would maybe pick this over civic center (but maybe not)

A short, compact course that comes to mind is located in Colorado, Ken Caryl, also referred to as the "postage stamp". Almost no elevation change, short holes and all located in one square section of a ball golf course. Played here a few times on vacation and it is a short course.

I haven't looked up and crunched the numbers, but I would bet this 9 hole course would be doable for such an attempt.

Poor Mr. Sale... his world record wasn't even 24 hours old, and here I am contemplating it's demise.

Kudos again Mike!

Hey, records are meant to be broken. I've wanted to take a run at this record for a while now, though between Mike and Dan they've pushed the record pretty high, not sure if I can still break it. Either way, it's a great accomplishment! It's been fun to see this record go down so many times in the last couple years.

If you wanna give it a go at Civc Center, I've got a place you can stay.

Until someone designs a course for the sole purpose of breaking this record. A flat field, 9 baskets in a circle, all open holes, all sub 100', no walk from basket to tee, ~1000' to walk the entire course. People will come play it just because it's the course that that one dude played 2000 holes in 24 hrs on.

This one might be a candidate. Soooo flat and short. The longest walk to the next tee might be 60-70 feet. 9 to one included.
